Dubai Waterfront

Dubai Waterfront was originally envisioned by Nakheel as the world's largest man-made coastal development. The project was designed as a massive series of artificial islands and canals in a crescent shape surrounding the Palm Jebel Ali. While the initial, hyper-ambitious master plan was scaled back following the 2008 global financial crisis, specific phases were completed and have become established residential communities, such as Badrah and Veneto.
