White Bay

White Bay was a major master-planned resort community originally launched in 2006 by the Emirates Sunland Group in Umm Al Quwain. Designed to be an Dh 8 billion "coastal retreat," the project was envisioned to feature waterfront villas, man-made islands, and a marina, all located just a short drive from Dubai.

However, the project faced significant hurdles and is currently a cancelled/stalled development. Following the global financial crisis and legal disputes regarding land and guarantee accounts, the developer, Al Murjan Real Estate, entered a court-mandated liquidation process.
