Hudayriyat Island

Hudayriyat Island is Abu Dhabi’s premier sports and leisure destination, a massive 3,000-hectare (approx. 51 million sq. m) island that is being transformed into a world-class residential and adventure hub. Developed by Modon Properties, it serves as a natural extension of the city, connected by the iconic Hudayriyat Bridge. The island is uniquely characterized by its elevated "hills" (reaching up to 60 meters) that offer 360-degree views of the Arabian Gulf and the Abu Dhabi skyline. It is designed to be a "Bike City" and a center for elite sports, featuring the world’s most advanced artificial wave facility, Surf Abu Dhabi, and the Velodrome Abu Dhabi.
